Eating out

There are many eating opportunities within a short drive of Upper Buckton B&B. Whether you fancy a country pub, a busy town inn or a bit of fine dining, we can help you find somewhere suitable. Here are just a few recommendations

                      The Lion, Leintwardine

Attractively situated on the river at Leintwardine, The Lion offers decent food in a pleasant setting and is our closest pub.

Dogs are permitted in the top bar.

We recommend booking (try outside overlooking the river in summer).

Banc, Knighton

Set in an old bank in the centre of Knighton, this bar and restaurant offers good pub food and a range of steaks.

Monday is a fish and steak night with special offers.

The Riverside Inn at Aymestrey offers the best eating experience in the area bar none. The menu is consistently excellent and the chef inventive.

It is popular so you will need to book at least a week or more in advance, although they may be able to fit you in if you give them a call.
