BREAKFAST  WITH A VIEW

Enjoy breakfast in the dining room offering views of the lawn running down to the millstream and a stunning vista of North Herefordshire.

There is a roaring fire in the chillier months and tables on the terrace in the warmer ones.

You could have sausages, bacon, baked vine tomatoes, chestnut mushrooms, black pudding  (Mary hates it but Jonathan loves it. It's up to you) and baked beans (Jonathan says they have no place on a breakfast plate but has been over-ruled).

Eggs can be poached, fried, scrambled, boiled, or made into an omelette.

Bread is fresh, coffee is real (caff or de-caff), tea is organic (caff or de-caff), juices are fresh. There will always be muesli, cereals, fresh fruit, fruit compote, yogurt, honey, jam and decent marmalade.

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

What makes a good breakfast is a highly personal choice.

We won't give you loads of superlatives like other places do. It's all a bit over the top. Suffice to say, most of the food we serve is local, organic and free-range.
